Banba Square also features the Nenagh Arts Centre. Originally the building, formerly known as the Town Hall, was built in 1895 and has now been utterly refurbished (October 2010) to feature a theatre and multi-purpose exhibition space. The purpose of the arts centre is to focus on community arts and development.
