Tommy Fleming Performs at Nenagh Arts Centre this Saturday

Tommy Fleming will perform in Nenagh Arts Centre this Saturday for one night only.

Tommy is recognised throughout Ireland and across the world as one of the finest singers of his generation. Appealing to all ages, musical tastes and cultures, audiences have now recognised Tommy Fleming as a truly unique talent.

Born in Aclare, Co Sligo in Ireland in 1971, Tommy was always destined for a career in music having started singing while still at school. While fronting his own local band, it was a chance meeting with Phil Coulter which gave Tommy his first big break when Phil asked him to guest on his tour of America. This led to Tommy establishing himself as a solo singer in his own right.

But his career has not been without its challenges. Tommy was involved in a serious car crash in 1998 that left him in pain for more than two years after suffering a broken neck.

The accident left Tommy fighting not only to win back the musical career he had fought long and hard to achieve, but also to win back his health. In 2012 Tommy suffered a personal set back when he lost both his parents on the same day, as result of taking a step back he decided to return to the stage with the release of a new album “Begin” and the release of his autobiography “Let Me Begin” inspired by his parents influence on his music and career choice. Tommy’s popularity has gone from strength to strength and demand for his music still continues.

The concert takes places at 8 p.m. on this Saturday, 11th October. Admission is: €28.

Remaining tickets are limited should be booked in advance from Nenagh Arts Centre on 067 34400 or online at www.nenagharts.com
