MUNSTER INTERMEDIATE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP

The Tipperary intermediate hurlers have been busy preparing for the Munster Intermediate Hurling semi-final. They have played two challenge games recently against the Laois seniors in Portlaoise and Clarinbridge of Galway, the 2011 All Ireland Club hurling champions, in Nenagh. While they are unable to include players who played in the All Ireland final victory over Kilkenny last year, this presents a great opportunity for other players to come to the fore in 2013. The Tipperary Intermediates will be captained by David Young of Toomevara and the vice- captain is Orrie Quirke of Silvermines.

The North division are organizing buses to carry punters to the event (contact Tim Floyd, secretary.tipperary@gaa.ie for details). The €50 per head includes entry to race, a Meal and Race Card. There will be a tipster serving all tables. An individual may purchase a seat for €50. To sponsor a race on the night will cost €2,000.00 and sponsors will be guests of the County Board and will present the winning owner with the prize from their sponsored race.  Photograph of same will appear in the local press subsequently. Sponsors will receive entry to the race meeting for 4 people with an Option of further €10 tickets.  Sponsors and their guests will be in the VIP section where wine and food will be provided, the Race Card will feature their names on the race that they are sponsoring, and as much publicity as possible in the local and daily papers.  The sponsors will also receive a half page ad in the race programme.
