Tipperary GAA Scene – February 15th 2023

Tipperary GAA Full Time Employment Opportunity

Tipperary County Board are currently recruiting for the role of Accounts/Administration/IT Assistant in our Thurles office. The Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association – Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Thiobraid Árann) is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Tipperary and the Tipperary County teams.

The successful candidate must have experience in an accounts position, and administration and enjoy a varied role which will be focused on accounting data input, administration of our County Board Draw and management of our match day scanners and Tap & Go machines, as well as their associated systems online and our match Streaming service. You will be working with the accounts, administration, IT and management team in our Thurles office.

Munster GAA to employ 20 new Games Development Staff

There was good news for Tipperary earlier this week with the announcement that Munster GAA is set to employ 20 new Games Development staff. This announcement will mean that Tipperary GAA and the clubs of the county will soon be welcoming new Games Development Administrators which can only be a positive step for everyone concerned. These new roles provide an ideal opportunity for educated, highly motivated and enthusiastic people who would like to make a career in the GAA. New working conditions and salaries will reflect the importance of these positions. An online recruitment information session will take place on Monday 20th February at 4pm.
