Things To Do In & Around Nenagh This Weekend
Saturday, April 11th
Walk in Her Shoes
The event is asking local men to put on a pair of high heels and ‘walk in her shoes’ to raise awareness around the topic of sexual violence. The day will be very much a family day – women and children are more than welcome to attend. In addition, there is a photography competition in the build up to the event ‘Theme Red’ where amateur photographers are asked to submit photos with the theme ‘red’.
The walk begins at The Hibernian Inn at 2pm. €10 per adult, kids walk free.
Live Music at the Talbot
Tae Lane will be performing tonight.
Traditional Music & Singing
Traditional music and singing at The Hibernian Inn at 10:00pm. Proceeds to benefit the Munster Fladh coming to Nenagh in July.
Trad Concert
The Ned Kelly Trad Orchestra & Silvermines Folk Choir in conjunction with FLEADH na MUMHAN, Nenagh 2015 will perform at The Scouts Hall, Nenagh at 8:00pm.

“Coffee Morning” Fundraiser
A fundraising “Coffee Morning” has been organized for Sunday, April 12th at the Pastoral Centre on Church Street from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Proceeds will assist Ciara Kennedy and Mary Shiels, our Nenagh representatives, who are among 200 volunteers from Ireland chosen to go to Los Angeles for the 2105 Special Olympic World Games.
Kildangan GAA Club Centenary Cycling Challenge
Kildangan GAA Club will host a cycling event on Sunday April 12th 2015 in Puckane, Nenagh. Registration at 9:00am. This event will form part of the club’s centenary celebrations while acting as fundraising event for the club’s capital development programme.
