For a real taste of home baking visit Nenagh Country Market which takes place in the New Institute, Friar Street each Friday morning from 8.00am to 1.30pm. Locally produced goods include tarts, cakes, buns, fruit cakes, cheese cakes, lasagnes, quiches, breads, jams & chutneys, free range eggs, chickens and ducks. A wide range of locally grown potatoes and vegetables are also available. Beautiful spring daffodils in the market this Friday morning.

A 5K walk to raise funds for the Irish Guide Dogs will take place at 3.00pm from Banba Square, Nenagh. There is a charge of €5 per person and participants will receive a badge, hi-vis vest and entry into a hamper draw. Please note all children go free. Participants are encouraged to bring their dogs and also avail of the free poop-scooters that will be handed out.
