Fundraiser for Alex Richardson
Figgerty’s will host a night of musical entertainment to fundraise for local boy Alex Richardson who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Occupational First Aid Course with Nenagh Red Cross
On Saturday the 28th of February, Sunday March 1st and Sunday March 8th Nenagh Red Cross will be running a three day Fetac Level 5 Occupational First Aid course in the Pastoral Centre, Church Road, Nenagh.
Learn skills such as: How to assess a casualty, Bleeding, Fractures, CPR and the use of a Defribrillator, Burns. This is a very worthwhile course, a mixture of practical and theory with qualified instructors and assistants to help you with each and every step

The North Tipperary Ploughing Championships will take place in Ballincur, Lorrha as the Association celebrates 50 years in existence. Ploughing, vintage displays, music, dancing, trade stands and bouncy castles will ensure there is something for everyone on the day.

Tipperary v Waterford Challenge Game in Clonmel
Tipperary will play Waterford in a senior hurling challenge game in Clonmel Sportsfield at 1pm. The game is a fundraiser for the GAA Centre in Clonmel which has recently been completely refurbished. Both Tipperary and Waterford are expected to field strong sides and a sizable attendance is expected for this attractive game. The game will be refereed by Fergal Horgan, Knockavilla Kickhams and his officials.
Tipperary Scor na bPaisti Final
The Tipperary Scor na bPaisti County Final will take place in Halla na Feile Cashel at 2.00pm. The Nenagh Éire Óg figure dancers will participate in the rince foirne.
Nenagh Soccer Teams Chase Cup Success
Nenagh Celtic travel to Dublin to play Vale View Shankill at 2.00pm in the FAI Junior Cup 6th round.
Meanwhile Nenagh AFC will take on Abbeyfeale in Brickfields at 2.00pm in the 5th round of the Munster Junior Cup.
Munster Fleadh Fundraiser in Killaloe
There will be a music session in the Anchor Inn, Killaloe from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. This is a Munster Fleadh 2015 fundraiser which will take place in Nenagh in July.
