Nenagh Players Present The Cripple of Inishmaan
Nenagh Players perform Martin McDonagh’s darkly comic ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ which is set against the back-drop of the filming of ‘The Man Of Aran’ by Robert Flaherty on the larger Aran Island ‘Inis Mor’ in 1934. The play follows ‘Cripple Billy’ Claven who, eager to escape the cruel backbiting and gossip on Inishmaan vies for a part on the film with surprising results. Shows Friday 7th and Saturday 8th at 8.30pm in Nenagh Arts Centre.
