Nenagh Ormond v Thomond in AIL DIV 2A
Nenagh Ormond RFC will be at home to Thomond on Friday 26th September at 7.30pm. Thomond were also promoted at the end of last season. The match between these two teams was a very close affair last year and Thomond have also started well with a five point haul against Queens last Saturday so this will be a challenge but one that the Nenagh lads will certainly look forward to. Friday night lights always ensures a great atmosphere so be sure to come out to support the lads this weekend!
The Unlearned Legacies of War: 1914- 2014
Following the success of last year’s Inaugural event, From Lockout to Bailout, the Nenagh Rising group will this year host an evening of conversations entitled ‘The Unlearned Legacies of War: 1914 – 2014’. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Tom Clonan, Irish Times Security Analyst, writer, lecturer and broadcaster. This event takes place on Friday 26th September from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Nenagh Arts Centre.
