Hospice Night in Molly Báns

Molly Báns will be raising money for the Suaimhneas Cancer Support Centre on Friday 22nd August. There will be leg waxing, beard and head shaving and Karaoke with Chris. Spot Prizes on the night.

Shannon Suir Cycle - Free Training Spin

Anyone interested in doing a free training spin ahead of the Shannon Suir Cycle on Saturday 13th September? This Saturday, August 23rd at 10am from Woodies car park in Nenagh, there will be a pre-Shannon Suir Cycle training spin. It will give you the opportunity to practice cycling in a group, with help and support from experienced cyclists. The cycle will be to Birdhill and back which is approximately 40km. Nenagh Farmers Market

The Nenagh Farmers Market will take place on Saturday 23rd August in Quintin’s Way from 10.00am to 3.00pm. An excellent selection of meats, baked produce, cheeses, sweets, fruit, vegetables and eggs will be available on the day.

All Ireland U16A Camogie Championship Final

Tipperary will play Galway in the All Ireland U16A Camogie Championship Final in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick at 2.00pm on Sunday 24th August.

Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie Club have four representatives on the panel in Grace O’Brien, Maeve Coffey, Hazel McAuliffe and Sarah Quigley and we join in wishing them the best of luck on the day and encourage people to support where possible.

National Heritage Week 2014

National Heritage Week takes place from Saturday 23rd August to Sunday 31st August. Historical Walking Tours of Nenagh and a Walk and Talk in Kilkeary Graveyard are some of the events taking place locally.

Walk and Talk in Kilkeary Graveyard

Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Semi Finals

The Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship Semi Finals will take place in Nenagh on Sunday 24th August. The first semi final sees Burgess take on Kilruane MacDonaghs at 2.30pm with Philip Kelly as referee. Pat Gibson will take charge of the second semi final at 4.00pm where Nenagh Éire Óg will play Borris-Ileigh.

Larkin’s Garden Party and Talent Show

Larkin’s, Garrykennedy will host a sumptuous BBQ of local produce on Sunday 24th August at 6.00pm but you create your own table setting (cutlery, plates, table cloths, cushions, etc)!!!
