For a real taste of home baking visit Nenagh Country Market which takes place in the New Institute, Friar Street each Friday morning from 8.00am to 1.30pm. Locally produced goods include tarts, cakes, buns, fruit cakes, cheese cakes, lasagnes, quiches, breads, jams & chutneys, free range eggs, chickens and ducks. Muck Off Challenge 2014

Muck Off is a cross country challenge taking place on a scenic 150 acre parkland estate just outside Nenagh in North Tipperary, taking place on Sunday August 3rd 2014. Muck off is an event for all fitness levels with 4 different categories. 10k Individual Run €45.00, 5k Individual Run €35.00, 5k Team Run €120.00, (team of 4, 3 members must cross line together), 5k Walk €25.00

MAIN EVENT: The course is 5 km length, ran twice by those entering the 10 km race. FAMILY FUN: Why not bring the whole family to the Muck Off event grounds? Entry is free to all. Bouncy Castles, Zorb Balls, Pig on a Spit Catering, Trampolines. It promises to be a great day with plenty of food and amenities to keep everyone entertained.
