Special Olympics Ireland Games 2014
The Special Olympics Ireland Games take place in Limerick from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th June. 1,500 athletes from the four corners or Ireland will be heading to Limerick to compete in the Special Olympics Ireland Games. The Games competitions start on Friday 13th June and continue until Sunday 15th June, they are open to the public and people are encouraged to come along to the venues to cheer on the athletes and soak up the amazing atmosphere that these Games always bring.
Clonmel Races BBQ Family Fun Evening
The Clonmel Races Family Fun BBQ evening takes place on Friday, June 13th.
Admission Prices: Adults €15, OAP’s €10, Children U-16 FREE.
Children’s Entertainment: Inflatable Slide, Outdoor Games including a giant Connect Four, Kiddies Club House for playground fun, All children’s activities are FREE Gratis.
Racing Information: 8 National Hunt races will make for an exciting card and the feature race, The Christopher Memorial Beginners Steeplechase sponsored by Kellys’ Pharmacies Dungarvan, is set to attract a top class field. First race off at 4.55pm.
Network North Tipperary Business Women of the Year Awards
The Network North Tipperary Business Women of the Year Awards will take place on Friday June 13th at the Cloughjordan House & Cookery school. The Emerging and Existing Business award winners will be announced at the gala event but the Network is delighted to announce that Nenagh woman and Tipp FM Key Account Manager Caroline Kinane will pick the AIB sponsored Employee Category award on the night. Celebration of Kilbarron Church 200
Kilbarron are celebrating the Bi-Centenary of St. Barron’s Church 1814 - 2014 from Friday 13th June to Sunday 15th June. There will be a musical evening with James Kilbane at 8.00pm in Kilbarron Church on Friday 13th June. Tickets €10 (in aid of village defibrillator).
On Saturday 14th June there will be a Historical Walk starting at 2.00pm from Kilbarron Village. There will also be “Dancing at the Crossroads” in the village from 9.00pm to 12.00am.
On Sunday 15th June there will be a Special Mass in Kilbarron Church celebrated by Bishop Kieran O’Reilly. This will be followed by a Bar-B-Que in the village from 3.30pm.

Bike Week 2014
Bike Week 2014 takes place from Saturday 14th June to Sunday 22nd June inclusive. Cloughjordan Community Development Committee is planning a number of events for Saturday 14th June on the main street in Cloughjordan during Market Day. These include Unicycle Workshops with Joanna Williams and the Cloughjordan Circus Club.
Rearcross FC will host the Slieve Felim Community Cycle on Sunday 15th June with the starting and finishing point at Rearcross FC grounds. The 50K and 100K route will start at 9.00am while the 10K will start at 11.00am.
North Tipperary Junior A Hurling League Final
Knockshegowna will play Kildangan in the North Tipperary Junior A Hurling League Final on Saturday 14th June at 7.00pm in Borrisokane.

Nenagh Eire Og 10k & 5K Run
The Blues’ 10K Run, which has been approved by the Athletic Association of Ireland, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 15th at 10.30am – the event will also include a 5K fun run and family walk. The run will commence at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh – the cost to entry for the 10K run is priced at €15 (€12 pre-registered). Entry for the 5K run is priced at €10 while the entry fee for walkers is priced at €5 per family.
Registration for the event will take place between 9am and 10am on the morning of the event on Sunday, June 15th.
Prizes: 10K Run – €100 first place male and female; €50 second placed male and female; €25 third placed male and female. Prizes 5k Run – €25 first placed male and female. Spot prizes for runners and walkers.
