Phase 1 of the refurbishment of The Scouts Hall in Nenagh is now complete and the official opening will take place on Saturday 17th January at 8.00pm.
"A Night of Showbands" will take place including Ebony with the Swing College show band. Special guests include Joe Hackett, Nenagh Choral Society, Keith MacDonald and also Crystal Swing who were a big hit at The People's Picnic in Nenagh last August.
Hot food will be served on the night and there is also a fully licensed bar. Tickets for the event cost €20 and can be purchased from Talbot's Menswear, Rohan's Bar, Nenagh Choral Society committee members or from The Scouts Hall between 2.00pm and 5.00pm daily.
Phase 1 has seen the creation of a modern multipurpose building consisting of a 380 seat auditorium with a stage, dressing and meeting rooms, foyer and toilet facilities. There is also plans afoot for Stage 2 and 3.
