It has been a great week for David Sheehan of the Visit Nenagh.ie Team DMG cycling team. On Tuesday last, July 9th, David recorded his first ever victory when he captured the A4 race in the Cork County Championships held in Fermoy. David was quickest to the line, seeing off Mark Calnan (De Rone Vlaanderen) and Niall Dunne (Iverk Produce Carrick Wheelers) in a thrilling bunch sprint.
Only 4 days later on Saturday July 13th David shone again when he again finished 1st in the A4 race at the Tralee Manor West GP in Co Kerry. He outsprinted Seán Doona (Killorglin CC) to record his second victory in less than a week. Congratulations to David and looking forward to more success in the future.
