Nenagh Ormond RFC’s 3rd Annual Tag Rugby Festival takes place at the club in Lisatunny on Saturday, July 19th.
Last year saw 24 teams take part in what was a great day and night of sport, music and craic and we hope that this year will be even bigger! Teams consist of 12 players with at least 2 girls on the pitch at all times. There are four groups for each different level of skill and we can guarantee you will enjoy the day whether you are an expert or a complete beginner.
After spending the day tagging, stick around and enjoy the night's entertainment or, if you can't make the day, come on out and join us for the night.
We are delighted to have Cork-based band Revenge at this year’s event. Consisting of four experienced professional musicians including lead singer and front man Keith Woodgate, the highly sought-after band have performed at some of Irelands highest profile events, headlining and also sharing stages with some top name chart acts.
Along with Revenge, we have lots of local talent on the night with up-and-coming local band Tigawara, Taylor Made, the very popular Twisty & Jay and singer-songwriter Conor Fahy all performing to keep you entertained!
Food Village, Cocktail Bar, free parking and shuttle service back into town later in the night.
Teams can register by downloading the form on our website and returning it with a €40 deposit to Keith Hayes or Mike Slattery. A team of 12 can register for just €240 (€20 each) and this includes entrance to all festival events so get your team together soon!
If it’s the music and craic you're after, entrance to the after-tag gig is just €10!
