Situated on 54 Pearse Street,The ZipYard Nenagh opened its doors in 2010, bringing a fresh new approach to the world of clothing alterations.

What can The ZipYard Nenagh do... Repair, remend, from the simple zips to the dress alterations, sleeve shortening, skirt tapering, trousers turn-ups, total garment re-design, bespoke garments and wedding service. The ZipYard also repair, alter and make soft furnishings such as curtains and cushion covers. Dry Cleaning and Launderette service is also available.

The shop is bright and modern and is fitted to a distinctive and high specification, including large private fitting rooms and a customer seating area. People can walk into the shop without an appointment and where necessary garments will be immediately measured or pinned in one of the large fitting rooms. Over 90 per cent of work will be completed in 48-hours or a 1-hour service is also available. Evening time appointments can be made on a customers request.

Earlier this year at the Franchise awards, Brent Pope presented Julie Shelly (proprietor) with Franchisee Of The Year Award and Pamela Quirke with Outstanding Manger Of The Year Award, a good night was had by all and a very proud moment for all the staff in Nenagh.

The Zip Yard is an alterations boutique, the seamstress and tailors are expert on the technical side of alterations and also know what can really bring a garment to life .
