A great crowd turned out yesterday evening for Laura McGraths Operation Transformation 5k Run/Walk with current Leader Marc Gibbs and 2013 Leader Greg Starr.
There was a great buzz around and the weather held out, Marc was delighted to be in Nenagh and after losing 5.5 pounds on his last weigh in he was thrilled saying ‘you just have to keep going, sure you will be disappointed if you don’t lose as much as you intend to in a week but on weeks like this your on a high’. We presented him with a Nenagh.ie High Vis running Tee-Shirt, which we’re sure he’ll get loads of wear out of in the coming weeks.
Well done to Laura who has organised the walk every week since week one on Operation Transformation started. Laura said she would like to thank everyone who has supported her in Hail, Rain and Snow, and that this will continue for the coming months as long as people want it.
