New Era for Molly Báns in Borrisokane

Mary and Pat Lynch and family who currently run Molly Báns Pub in Summerhill, Nenagh have recently purchased Mac Aogains Pub on Main Street, Borrisokane. The official opening will take place on Friday, February 20th with music on the night provided by local band, Tradstone.

Mary and Pat have spent the last six years in Molly Báns in Summerhill where they offer a warm and friendly welcome to all. Thursday nights are poker nights where Texas Hold'em is enjoyed by all. There is live music and karaoke every Friday and Saturday night while Sunday is a day to enjoy all the sporting action.

Mac Aogains had been under the ownership of John and Justine Egan and like Molly Báns is renowned for its live entertainment, card games and live sporting action. The Pub will be re-branded as Molly Báns and Mary and Pat hope to continue in this tradition and are extending a warm welcome to all locals and visitors to the area to call in and enjoy the entertainment and craic. A complete refurbishment has taken place and facilities include a Bar and Lounge with adjoining games room, smoking room and beer garden. A big screen will showcase all the major sporting events from Sky, Setanta, BT Sport, At the Races etc.

Honesty will perform in house on Saturday 21st February and Friday 27th will see the start of 45 Drive where vouchers from local businesses will be up for grabs. These cards games will continue every Friday night.

Best wishes to Mary, Pat and family in their new venture in Borrisokane and business as normal will continue in Summerhill.
