NENAGH Walking Club has two long distance walks lined up for the coming year. The Camino Way trek will cover 164km between April 28 and May 7. Places limited and early booking is advisable.
The Royal Canal walk of 90km takes place between June 2 and June 8. Full details on these events from mackeydonal@hotmail.com A training programme for the walks will start on Sunday, January 20. Meet at Kenyon Street car park at 11am. This walk will be the Sliabh heilim Way. All welcome to join on a walk of about four hour duration.
Our next walk on Sunday, January 13, will be Portumna Woods. This flat walk will be led by John Hogan (087 2232923). We will depart from Kenyon Street car park at 11am.
