On Sunday 18th August Members travelled to Slieve Reagh, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. This was a 4.5 hour walk & we were rewarded with spectacular views of the Galtees from the top of Slieve Reagh.
On Sunday 1st September our outing will be to the Slieve Blooms – this is a 5 .5 hour hike and Graded as an A walk & only suitable for experienced hikers. This walk will be led by Cathal McNicholas. Further details can be obtained by emailing aonacharsiul@gmail.com We will meet up at Kenyon Street Car Park at 11.00 am.
Upcoming Tuesday evening walks are as following:
Tue 27th Aug: Coum Woods (1.5 hr walk) Meet at Yellow Bridge Pub, Old Limerick Road at 7.15 pm.
Tuesday 3rd Sept: Nenagh River Walk – Meet at AIBP Meat Factory, Borrisokane Road at 7.30 pm.
As and from the 10th September all further Tuesday walks will consist of a brisk 9km walk along the Nenagh Town Bypass. Meet at Tesco Car Park at 7.30 pm.
