AONACH AR SIÚL - Nenagh Walking Club
The club continues with the following walks over the next few weeks.
The next Sunday walk takes place on Sunday 21st when the club will travel to Glenbarrow in the Sliabh Blooms for a 4 hour B walk. Contact for this is Maura Bowe 086 8360621.
July 5th is the Summer Social outing. More details to follow.
Unless otherwise notified all Sunday walks as usual leave Kenyon street carpark at 11.00.
Please note that all changes to this schedule will be notified by email, website or text.
Our Tuesday evening hills walks continue until the 1st September. Contact for these walks are Paddy Seymour 086 8562444 and Mary Seymour 087 9735164.
June 23rd the club will doTountinna departing just above Spar shop Portroe at 7.10.
June 30th Devils Bit departing Arrabawn Co-op (Tyone mills) at 6.45(note earlier time).
Our Thursday evening walks which proved so popular last year have resumed for the Summer. They are opened to all levels and are introductory walks and aimed for members who want off the road, easy terrain and scenic trails. Maura Bowe is the contact for these walks. The meeting point for the mentioned Thursday walks is Kenyon St Car Park at 7.
Thursday 18th June, the club will travel to Cloughjordan and do Scohaboy Bog/Sopwell wood.
25th June, the club will walk at Latteragh Forest.
July 2nd the club will be heading to O'Brien's Bridge to do Errina Canal/Headrace.
