The Nenagh Ormond Brass Band are pleased to announce the launch of a new development to recruit new members to the band.
The aim of this recruitment drive is to promote brass band musicianship and educate those who wish to play brass instruments, from absolute beginners to those who have some knowledge. The recruitment is open to all ages, Male and Female all ages considered, remember you are never too late to learn.
The band has built up a pool of instruments in readiness for the new recruits. There will be FREE tuition for an introduction course where you will gain the basics of playing a brass band instrument and reading music. This is an exciting new development for the Nenagh Ormond Brass Band and as always, we would be extremely grateful for the support from the community to help us make this a success.
We are holding Open day Workshop on Saturday 15th of February at 2.00pm in The Nenagh Community Training Centre St Johns Lane (Opposite Main Car-Park entrance). Why not come along and meet the band and have a go at some of the instruments on offer.
