Results

No play on Saturday and Sunday, November 24-25th due to frost.

Fixtures: Wednesday, November 28th Corky Golf Balls; Friday, November 30th Senior Retired Open; Saturday-Sunday, December 1st-2nd 14 holes Fourball.

Senior Retired Open: The Senior Retired Open singles will be held every Friday for the winter from 10am. to 12 noon. It will be over 14 holes from the green markers. Entry: €5 for members and €12 for guests.

Societies: Friday, November 30th North Tipperary County Council Golf Society 10.30am 12 noon; Saturday, December 1st: Monaleen Golf Society 9am-10.30am; Dapp Inn Golf Society 10.30am-11.30am.

Poker Classics: The following are the dates for the Poker Classic - Friday, December 14th at 8pm, Friday, January 25th at 8pm, Friday, February 22nd at 8pm. Entry fee €20 (including refreshments).

AGM: The annual general meeting of the parent club will take place in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Monday, December 10th.

Ladies

Results: The second week of the November Turkey competition went well with prizes for two categories. Category 1 (0-24 handicap) was won by Jean Hickey (23) 25 points; second Helen Leo (24) with 23 points; Category 2 (25-36 Handicap) first Nancy O’Sullivan (27) 25 points; second Kay Murphy (34) 24 points. Congrats to all.

Upcoming events: the Turkey competition started Thursday, November 22nd will continue until November 30th.

Starting on December 1st and running until December 31st 12-hole singles S/F. Entry fee €3. Enter as many times as you wish. Best card to count. Domestic handicap applies.

The Christmas Party is on December 7th and the name sheet is now up in the locker room. Christmas Party competition is a 12-hole singles competition on both Thursday, December 6th and Friday, December 7th with prizes for first to tenth place.

Conditions of play are mark, lift, clean and place within six inches on the fairway and also in the rough.
