Condolences

It was with great sadness that we learned last week of the death of Bridie Gavin, wife of our late Club President Ger. Bridie was a great support to Ger in his many roles with the club over the years and she herself was the club's Tipperary Draw coordinator for many years. We extend our sympathies to Bridie's daughters Deirdre, Marion & Claire, sons Gerry and Brendan and extended family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Sponsorship

At the AGM held recently, the club were delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal specifically dedicated to our young boys and girls.

A Sportsman's Dream and John Kennedy's Albany Home Decor, Summerhill, have kindly agreed to sponsor our Hurling Coaching Academy which will provide coaching for all our Primary schools and likewise for all of our underage teams.

There will be an official launch of this new sponsorship deal but in the meantime, please support both these sponsors and all our sponsors whenever you can.

Healthy Club Walks

The Irish Life 'Every Step Counts' challenge continues until 23rd Feb. At the moment we have up to forty people signed up to this and it would be great to see more joining in the challenge for the next three weeks. To participate simply download the Irish Life MyLife app, go to 'My Challenges' and click on Munster GAA. Be sure to then scroll to Nenagh Éire Óg and join up here. Please contact Bartley Ryan 086 735 8359 for further information.

The ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walks continue on Tuesday and Thursday nights  - these walks start at 7pm from MacDonagh Park.
