Medal Presentation

The medal presentation for the victorious teams of 2022 was held last Friday night in the Hi B. The North senior hurling champions and U19 footballers received their medals with a presentation also made to the senior management group. Thanks to Martin Morris and all in the Hi B for facilitating this great night.

Co Senior League

The seniors have their first competitive game of the year next weekend with the start of the Co senior hurling league. Our first game is against JK Brackens - this game will take place on Friday morning next, 17th March, at 10.30am in MacDonagh Park. 

Junior Football

The Junior A Football Championship is now due to start on Sunday 26th March - we are due to play Kilruane MacDonaghs in Round 1 with Roscrea the other team in our group. Fixture details to follow next week.

Tipperary  

Well done to Jake Morris on his Man of the Match performance in Tipp’s win over Waterford last weekend. Jake scored a hat trick with his goals coming at crucial times in the game – he received the TG4 Man of the Match award for his fine performance.

Nenagh Ormond

Best wishes to Nenagh Ormond in their Munster Senior Challenge Cup Final on Thursday next against Young Munster in Thomond Park.

Lotto

This week's lotto jackpot was €6,000. A reminder that you can play the lotto each week at the following businesses in the town where our new lotto boxes are located - The Hi-B, JKC, Centra, The 44 Bar, Cleary’s Daybreak & Andy’s. The lotto can also be played online through the link on the club website and social media sites or contact any Committee member to sign up. Thank you for your continued support of our lotto.

Membership

Membership for 2023 is now due and can be paid through Foireann.ie. If you are already set up on Foireann simply login and select and pay your membership type here. If you do not have an account, go to Foireann.ie and choose the New User – Register Option. Once you have set up an account your membership can then be paid here. Membership rates remain the same as last year and are as follows:

Full Membership - €50

Student/OAP/Unemployed/Juvenile - €30

Family options are also available.

For insurance purposes all players must have their membership paid. With games beginning in the coming weeks, we are asking that players, both adult and juvenile, pay their membership ASAP.

Please note that those who availed of our membership offers last year, your payment/membership details will now be updated on Foireann. Any queries on membership please contact Enda Long at 087 221 3954.

Éire Ógres 

Éire Ógres are back on Saturday April 22nd, please spread the word in schools, after school, creches, to neighbours, friends and family. Looking to get our biggest number of Little Ógres Stars enrolled & having loads of fun over the 4 weeks.

Easter Camp 

Nenagh Éire Óg are running an Easter Gaelic Games Camp, this is open to boys and girls up to 12 years and takes place on April 4th, 5th & 6th from 10am to 1pm. Cost is €40 per child, please contact Niall at 087 4086439 for further information or to book.

The 2023 Nenagh Éire Óg Gaelic Games Youth Academy proudly sponsored by Albany Home Decor Nenagh & A Sportsmans Dream is underway and we welcome new boys to join in and give hurling and football a try. Contact club social media with any queries.

U13 Football

The u13 A & D panels got their 2023 football league underway last weekend when the boys played Ballina at home in both grades, the A's had a win and the D's lost narrowly. The A, C & D teams are out in action in Saturday March 18th v Newport in Newport at 2.30 and 3.30, all support welcome. The U13 boys went over to Thurles on Saturday night last to support Jake and the Tipperary team, it was a terrific occasion for the boys, thanks to the coaches for organising. Congratulations to the Nenagh Eire Og U13 boys who were involved in the U13 rugby league final win v Shannon RFC at the weekend - Anluan, Harry, Robbie & Marcus.
