Nenagh Eire Og Club Notes 30th November 2021

Junior Football

Congratulations to our Footballers who won the Co Junior B Football Final on Sunday with a 5 point win over Aherlow. This was a great performance from our lads who led from the start and were deserving winners on the day. Thanks to all the players and the management team who worked very hard for this over the last number of weeks.

U21 Hurling

Nenagh Éire Óg were drawn to play Kiladangan in the U21 North semi-final - this game will take place on Sunday next, Dec 5th, at 2pm in Borrisokane. Best of luck to the players and management

Harty Cup

Well done to Nenagh CBS and to the Nenagh Éire Óg boys involved on their 4 point win over North Mon in the Harty Cup on Wed last in MacDonagh Park. This win puts them into the quarter final which will take place in January.

AGM

Nenagh Éire Óg AGM will take place on Thurs 9th Dec at 8pm in the Abbey Court Hotel. Depending on the Covid situation at the time this may change to a Zoom meeting – please keep a check on social media for updates. Mask wearing and Covid Certificate/Certificate of recovery are required as per GAA guidelines.

Lotto

Last Monday night’s lotto jackpot was €7,900. To be in with a chance to win please play online through the link on the club website.

Under 7

Congratulations to our Under 7 lead coach Alan Kelly on a superb win on Sunday last in the Junior B football county final.

Nenagh Éire Óg Clothes Bank
We are delighted to now have on site at MacDonagh park our very own club clothing bank.
The New clothing bank is located on the right hand side as you enter the gates of MacDonagh park.
The clothing bank is exclusive to Nenagh Éire Óg so funds generated from clothing donations to this bank will come back into the club to cover running costs.
We would ask all club members to drop any unwanted clothes into the bank and support Éire Óg club fundraising at the same time. Mile buíochas.
