However, despite losing by four points this was a spirited display which the lads can build on. For a report on this encounter please log on to the club website. The Watch Centre North Tipperary Junior B Hurling League will be played on a two-group system this year with the top two teams in each progressing to the semi-finals. Nenagh Éire Óg have been drawn in group one alongside Toomevara, Newport, Shannon Rovers, Moneygall & Portroe. Meanwhile group two features Borrisokane, Ballina, Borris-Ileigh, Lorrha-Dorrha & Kildangan. The Nenagh Éire Óg team are managed this year by Cian Tucker, Mark Long, Paddy Flynn and John Paul King.

Minor A: The Blues’ will launch their North Tipperary Minor A Football Championship campaign on Wednesday, April 1st when Nenagh Éire Óg will host Newport Gaels in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh at 6.30pm. The team are managed by John Manley, Paudie Gleeson, Derek Lillis and Christy McLoughlin. We wish the lads all the very best during the campaign and appeal for your support. The following is the amended draw - group one: Kildangan, Inane Rovers, Ballina; group two: Nenagh Éire Óg, Newport Gaels, Portroe. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
