Sympathies: The club was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Fr Alec Reid. Fr Alex was an excellent hurler playing for Nenagh CBS, the old St Mary's club in the town as well as the Tipperary minor hurlers. He won a North Tipperary minor title in 1947 before joining the priesthood where he went on to play a huge role in the peace process in the north of Ireland. We extend our sympathies to his family and friends.
