Nenagh Éire Óg - Club Notes 12/05/2014

Senior: Éire Óg made a winning start to their Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship campaign when they beat Templederry by ten points at Cloughjordan on Sunday evening - Nenagh Éire Óg 2-18 Templederry Kenyons 1-11. For a report on the game please see the club website. Also on Sunday Kilruane beat Roscrea and Borris-Ileigh beat Moneygall. The Blues will have to wait until the concluding four games in the opening round of the competition are played this coming weekend before a draw will take place of the second round.

Junior A: Following their recent defeat to Roscrea (1-11 to 2-13) the junior A hurlers are expected to return to action this weekend when they face Burgess in the north Tipperary league. Please keep on eye on the club website for fixture details.

The Blues’ 10K Run: The Blues’ 10K Run, which has been approved by the Athletic Association of Ireland, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 15th at 10.30am - the event will also include a 5K fun run and family walk. Please see the club website for more details.
