Nenagh Éire Óg - Club Notes 10/02/2014

Congratulations: Our congratulations this week go to Michael Heffernan and Paddy Murphy who both featured for Tipperary in the Premier’s 4-22 to 3-11 Waterford Crystal Cup final win over All-Ireland champions Clare at Páirc na nGael in Limerick on Friday evening.

County Senior Hurling Championship: Nenagh Éire Óg have been drawn against Clonoulty-Rossmore, Roscrea and the Templederry Kenyons in group one of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship. The Blues will face Clonoulty-Rossmore in the opening round on the week-ending April 13th. Éire Óg have also been drawn against Burgess in the opening round of the County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup. That game is scheduled to take place on the week-ending Sunday, March 2nd.

North Championship: The draw for the north Tipperary senior hurling, under-21A hurling, junior A hurling and junior B hurling championship will take place on Thursday, February 20th - this year’s minor A hurling championship will not require a draw since it will be played on a single-group round-robin basis.
