Nenagh Éire Óg - Club Notes 07/04/2014

Senior: Nenagh Éire Óg launch their Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship campaign on Sunday, April 13th at 6.30pm in The Ragg when the lads face Clonoulty-Rossmore. The Michael Ferncombe-coached Clonoulty-Rossmore are among the favourites to win the Dan Breen Cup this year. So, we appeal to all Blues to come out on Sunday evening and support the lads.

Junior A: Nenagh Éire Óg drew with Knockshegowna (0-10 apiece) in a well-contest North Tipperary Junior A League clash at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Saturday evening. In greasy conditions Nenagh Éire Óg battled gamely against Knockshegowna (the 2013 North Tipperary Junior A champions), but there was nothing to separate the sides at referee TP Sullivan’s final whistle. For a report on this game please see the club website.

Junior B: Our junior B hurlers are in league action on Saturday, April 12th when they face Borrisokane in Borrisokane at 6pm.

Best Wishes: All the very best to Andrew Coffey, Shane Hennessy and Conor Ryan who are members of the Tipperary minor panel which faces Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds on Thursday, April 10th at 7.30pm.

Membership: Membership for 2014 is now due and can be paid to any club officer or online. The cost of membership is priced at €25.

Lotto: Lotto jackpot of €2,300 was not won - lucky dip winners: James Last (c/o HIB), Cian Powell (c/o P Cleary), Paul Slattery (Kilcolman), Enya Grace (Ormond Keep), Lorraine Whelan (Mountrath). Please consider supporting the Blues by playing our club lotto. Just watch how far we can stretch your €2!
