Munster Minor Tournament: On Saturday afternoon last, our minor team travelled to Dr Morris Park, Thurles for the inaugural Munster Minor hurling championship. In the first game, we defeated De La Salle from Waterford on a score line of 1-12 to 1-06. In the semi we were pitted against Kerry outfit Causeway which we won by 2-10 to 1-03 to set up a final meeting with Doon from Limerick. After a slow start the lads got themselves back into the contest and trailed by two at the break. The lads showed great heart and determination but unfortunately ended up on the wrong side of a two point defeat as it finished 0-09 to 0-07. Again well done to the panel and management for a great year.
