Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 28/04/2014

Our Under 12's played Toomevara on Thursday last and were unfortunately defeated. We are due to play the shield semi final next Saturday in The Ragg against either Silvermines or Eire Og Annacarthy.  Time to be confirmed.

The Under Fourteen team play in Nenagh on Tuesday evening at 6pm against Eire Og Annacarthy.  The semi finals are fixed for next Saturday in The Ragg.

The Under Sixteen had a great win over Drom & Inch in the first round of the championship on Thursday last. Their next game is away to Newport next Thursday at 17.45. This will be their final match until after the Junior Certificate.

We had a very successful clothes collection on Saturday last. Thanks to everyone who kindly donated and a special thank you to Catherine Kennedy, Marie O Brien, Josie Tierney and Mary Quigley for their huge efforts in organising this.

Our Easter walk is on Monday 5th of May from the hurling field at noon.  All support will be appreciated for this important fund raiser.

Best wishes to Alanna, Rachel and the Tipperary minor team who are due to play their Munster final against Cork this weekend.

Thanks to Nenagh Town Council for the civic reception they awarded to our Junior B and Minor teams last Friday in the Civic Offices. It was a wonderful night acknowledging the hard work and achievements of some of the towns successful teams.
