Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 16/02/2015

Training: Our minor and junior teams are training on Saturday in the hurling field at 11:30am. We ask all players to make the effort to be there. Our under 16s have training every Wednesday and Saturday and management will be in touch with the times. All other teams will resume training in early March.

Registration: There are still a number of players who have yet to register for this year and no player will be allowed to train or play with the club without registering. The costs are for all girls under the age of ten is €50 while for others it is €60 for the first girl to register from a family and €50 for every other child from the same family. For non-players it is €20. We ask all our players to please register at your earliest convenience.

Condolences: Everyone in the camogie section were deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Brian Gubbins. Brian was a very talented hurler who represented his club and school, Nenagh College, with distinction over the years and broke the hearts of many forwards with his superb saves in goals. He played a crucial part in Eire Og winning the north and county minor championship in 2013 and played with the Junior A team that won the north championship in 2014. Brian was a lovely, good natured young man who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. To his parents Jim and Nora, brother Kevin and sister Michelle we offer our sincerest and deepest condolences. Ar dheis Dé go raibh anam.
