Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 11/08/2014

Under 10: This team are travelling to Dundrum this weekend for the Moira Cahill Memorial Tournament hosted by the Knockavilla Donaskeigh Camogie club. Management will be in contact with the details. We also played Kilruane MacDonaghs in Nenagh last Thursday in a very entertaining challenge game. Thanks to Kilruane for making the journey and the game.

Under 14: The Under 14 team take on Ballina in the opening round of the A championship on Thursday at 19:15 in Nenagh. Your support is appreciated.

Under 15: Congratulations to our Under 15 team that defeated Drom & Inch last week in the Under 15 A County League final. It was a great performance all round and a deserved reward for lots of hard work from a dedicated panel and management team.

Under 16: Our Under 16 team had a great win over Eire Og Annacarthy in the championship during the week. This is our second win of the campaign having previously beaten Drom & Inch and losing to Newport. This victory sees us through to the knock out stages. Well done to all involved.

Junior A: Our Junior A team are creating a little bit of history this Thursday when they take on Templemore in the opening round of the championship. This will be the first time the club will have featured in the Junior A championship. This game is at 19:15 in Templemore and your support is more than appreciated.

Bag Packing: A sincere thank you to all who volunteered to bag pack last weekend in Tesco. This is a vital fundraiser and your generosity is very much appreciated. Thanks also to Tesco and their staff for allowing us this opportunity and to the kind shoppers who donated.
