Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 10/10/2016

Under-11: We are playing in the Toomevara blitz this weekend and mentors will be in contact with parents/guardians with the details.

Under-12: Our players were presented with their end of year medals by Tipperary All Ireland winning minor Jake Morris over the weekend. Thanks to all the players who made it a great year and of course their mentors for coaching them and organising the various games as well as the parents/guardians who brought the girls to training and matches. We are looking forward to 2017 already!

End of Year Party: We will be organising an end of year party in the coming weeks for our teams from under-8 up to under-16. Mentors will be in contact with the details.

Intermediate: The week belongs to our intermediate side who at the first time of asking in this grade have qualified for the county final after a hard fought win against our neighbours Silvermines on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-10. We are awaiting details of the final so please keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter accounts for details of this historic fixture. Best of luck ladies in the final.

Sympathies: All of us here in the camogie section extend our sympathies to the Devaney and Morris families following the recent passing of Jane. Jane was a passionate follower of all the various teams in our club and her presence will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
