Nenagh Eire Og Camogie club notes 07/12/15

The A G M of Nenagh Eire Og Camogie club was held recently. The members in attendance were satisfied with the direction of the club and the fact that all teams are now playing in A competitions and our most adult team have qualified for the Intermediate championship next season having won both the Junior A League and Championship double just two years after winning the Junior B Double. The progress of the club is down to the hardworking committee who gave up their spare time to guide and fund what is a wonderful club  with a great ethos of fun first achievements afterwards. The new Chairperson Caitriona Morris was wished well  on her role for the upcoming year and she was full of praise for the previous chairperson Denise Morris who had guided the club along with a steady hand leaving the club in great shape.  The new chairperson also thanked the great work of retiring P R O Enda O Sullivan who along with Brian McDionnell and Catherine McTiernan for their remarkable work on the Eire Og E Zine which was a great way of showing the Hurling and Camogie clubs achievements along with historic pieces from the past . Catriona also thanked Mary Ryan Mulqueen for her dedication to the club . The club would like to say that they are on the lookout for new players and managers as we are proposing to field two adult teams next year meaning that previous players and anyone who wishes to get back playing camogie should make an early new years wish and contact Catriona Morris at 087 7776135 for details.

The club would also like to congratulate Enda O Sullivan for his recent academic achievements .

The proceeds of the Hibernian Inn Christmas Draw this year are going to Nenagh Camogie Club so I would encourage everyone to drop in a buy a few lines at 2 euros a piece or 5 euros for 3 lines. It will start the year off well for us as we plot another successful year ahead .
