Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie - Club Notes 05/10/2015

Under 14: We travelled down to Annacarty on Sunday morning last to face the home side in the semi final of the Winter League and unfortunately we were defeated. We wish Eire Og Annacarty the very best of luck in the final. That game signalled the conclusion of the Camogie year for the under-14s and the club wish to complement the entire panel for all their hard work in 2015. They were a pleasure to deal with and we can’t wait to see them all again in 2016.

Minor: Our minor game against Clonoulty on Sunday last was postponed due to a bereavement in Clonoulty and will now take place at a later date.

Junior A: We face Holycross next weekend in a playoff to see who qualifies for the championship semi finals. This is a must win game and the girls have been putting in a massive effort all year and your support is appreciated. The game is fixed for Nenagh at 12 noon on Saturday.

Strength and Conditioning: We are delighted to announce that in conjunction with the juvenile club we will be hosting a strength and conditioning course for all our players from under-8 up to minor throughout the winter months. This will be supervised by a qualified instructor who specialises in this area. It will commence on Tuesday 13th October in the running complex in Ballygraigue from 19:30 - 20:30 and in the hurling field on Thursday evenings. We encourage all our players in these age brackets to please make a special effort to attend.

Flag Weekend: There was a change in the date of our Flag Weekend to the 17th and 18th of October. We ask all our members and supporters to please volunteer an hour of your time for this vital fundraiser. If you are willing to do so please contact Denise Morris ASAP.
