Nenagh CBS have initiated a novel means of raising funds for a proposed canteen and assembly area which will feature in a development plan for the school.
Nenagh CBS are appealing to past pupils to participate in a time capsule project - the capsule will be buried in the foundations of the school’s new wing and will remain underground until November 5th, 2063.
The proposed development of Nenagh CBS will house five new classrooms and a canteen.
A significant part of the project will be funded by the Department of Education while Nenagh CBS hope to raise €100,000.
Past pupils who make a financial contribution can include their memories of the school in the time capsule. Those interested are asked to contact Nenagh CBS to register their interest in the project.
