The Design Atelier opened on Friar Street in Nenagh on Saturday 20th April. The proprietor is local fashion designer Marion Murphy-Cooney from Newtown.
Marion provides Irish designed and made clothes, hats and accessories. Marion is an award winning designer and her creations have been worn by celebrities on the red carpet on many occasions. She has pieces available to buy in the store along with bespoke pieces that are made to measure to suit the client. She is particularly enthusiastic about her clients that commission a piece for a personal event as this brings a new challenge. A personal consultation with the designer will ensure that, working to any budget, you will emerge with a unique piece that cannot be seen elsewhere – you are creating an investment piece. Marion is also providing an opportunity for other Irish designers to showcase and sell their products from jewellery to accessories.
