The Thatched Cottage Bar, Restaurant and Banquet Room, owned by Kathleen and Tony Donlan is located in Ballycommon Nenagh, Co.Tipperary, close to Dromineer and the wonderful scenic views and walks of Lough Derg. Divided into 4 main areas – Our Old World Farmhouse Style Bar, Our Restaurant with its artistic lighting and Old Stonework, Nell’s Cottage for that intimate private gathering and Our Classically Built Banqueting Room.
We serve food daily, A-La-Carte and carvery and also cater for functions, Weddings and celebrations in our newly built Open Fire, Thatched Roof Banquet Room.
We were recently delighted to be part of ‘The Unilever Great Carvery Competition’ which is held yearly highlighting the wonderful cuisine to be found in our carvery’s, to which we have progressed to the next stage of the competition.
