Cycling documentary maker Flavio Pasquino and his motoman Jos Verschuur have accepted the invitation to shoot a lengthy documentary about the Visit Nenagh.ie Classic.
With appearances on Dutch TV in 2012 during the Tour de France and a feature piece on the 6pm news on the National Dutch broadcaster RTV Noord in 2013 interest from European media for the third edition of the classic in Nenagh is growing. French sports magazine Be Celt already produced an article in their March edition, now it's the turn of former pro cyclist Flavio Pasquino to sample the atmosphere of cycling in North Tipperary.
TV producer Pasquino retired from professional cycling at the end of 2012 and has since returned to his old trade in the media industry. Since last year Pasquino is producing high quality cycling related documentaries and is involved in the creation of high profile tv commercials. In recent months he has worked and produced fly on the wall themed documentaries for professional cyclists and cycling teams around Europe . Using multiple HD cameras at the same time the documentary is promised to be a valuable asset in the promotion of the Visit Nenagh.ie Classic within the wider cycling community and tourism industry across the world.
Pasquino, currently working on a project during the 3 day of the Panne in Belgium will fly into Ireland next week, where a motorbike supplied and sponsored by Joe Duffy Motors, BMW dealer in Dublin awaits him.
