Work has begun today on the delivery of Gas to Nenagh following on from the contract signing in July 2014. The 1st phase of the job will see the delivery of gas to Arrabawn in Stafford Street with a number of crews working in the area. The works will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks in total and will be completed by mid-March. Tipperary County Council have put a traffic management system in place although some disruption may occur. Tipperary County Council regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of these works.

Local TD Alan Kelly, Minister for the Environment, Community & Local Government has welcomed the developments "This is hugely important for Nenagh. Gas provision will create a huge competitive advantage for Nenagh".
