Chris Jeuken of Visit Nenagh.ie Takes the Win in Ras Luimni

It took him exactly 3 weeks to find the key to success in the senior category. With a 7th spot in Loughrea, a third last week in Broadford, Chris Jeuken of the Visit Nenagh.ie team got the result he deserved, scoring himself a fine victory in Ras Luimni, Caherconlish last Sunday. The lumpy circuit on the County Limerick course was not the definitive factor as a large group of riders stormed towards the finish line. Chris used his racing skills and sprinted to victory, leaving Bob Murray (NCC) behind in second position and Bobby Coleman of Limerick CC in third.

Mark Shannon was the best of the Visit Nenagh.ie team that appeared in Carrabane, Co Galway. Mark was in the decisive breakaway, but was sandwiched between a couple of riders of the strong Liquidworx team. Charles Prendergast (Cunga CC) won the race, outsprinting Mike Storan (Liquidworx). Mark Shannon was edged out on the line by Paddy Clarke (Liquidworx), leaving him with fourth place.
