On Friday, August 23rd, at the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh, a ‘Hurling night with the stars’ will take place at 8pm.
DJ Carey (Kilkenny), Anthony Daly (Clare & current Dublin manager), Nicky English (Tipperary), John Mullane (Waterford) and Conor Hayes (Galway) will take part in a Q & A session with members of the public, facilitated by Tipperary man Damian Lawlor from the Sunday Independent.
It’s been a remarkable hurling summer by any stretch of the imagination and the expert views of our special guests will be worth listening to as we look ahead to the conclusion of the All-Ireland hurling championship.
Entry to the event is €10, payable at the door, and at half-time, a raffle will take place for some great prizes.
This fundraising event is raising money for the ‘Fix Crumlin’ campaign at the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
