Tipperary Cycle to Raise Funds for Job Creation
Cyclists from Tipperary and around the country are taking part in a fundraising cycle to help create new jobs in local food initiatives. On June 15th over 100 cyclists will take part in the 100k cycle which starts in Borrisokane at 10am. The route travels through Nenagh, Borrisoleigh, Templemore, Roscrea, Cloughjordan and finishes up again in Borrisokane. The cyclists will be raising funds for GET Local (formerly LocalSwitch), an Irish based cooperative, non profit organisation. Get Local offers empowerment, mentorship and a complete business services platform to local, community entrepreneurs creating local jobs.
Historical Walking Tour of Nanagh
Kevin Whelan will be conducting a Father’s Day special Historical Walking Tour of Nenagh on Saturday June 15th at 7.00pm. Tour starts outside Nenagh Arts Centre in Banba Square.
Brendan Shine in Concert
Brendan Shine will perform at the Nenagh Arts Centre on Saturday 15th June at 8.00pm (Doors 7.15pm). Admission: €20.
Nenagh Lions Club Charity Fun Cycle
Nenagh Lions Club will hold their annual Charity fun Cycle on Sunday 16th June, starting and finishing at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh. Registration will take place from 10am and the cycle will begin at 10.30am. There will also be a draw for a bicycle sponsored by Moynan’s Bike Shop.
This event is run in conjunction with Bike Week which takes place from Saturday 15th to Sunday 23rd June.

Patsy’s Tea Party will take place this coming Sunday June 16th at 2.00pm in Curraquill Garden, Ballycommon in aid of the North Tipperary Hospice Movement.
