SENIOR IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
Cook Medical are now recruiting for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Limerick. The primary function of the role is to work as part of the European Infrastructure team to support the Core IT Infrastructure for Cook Medical in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer key Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, WDS, Exchange, SQL, IIS
- Manage and Maintain a multi-site VMWare Virtual Platform
- Installation, Configuration and maintenance of core networking equipment (Switches, Routers)
- Installation and Maintenance of Server Infrastructure
- Offer both Desktop and Server support as required
- Join with global infrastructure teams to deliver key project results in line with the Global IT Strategy for the company
Qualifications:
- Formal Information Technology or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5+ year experience in a Technical role
- Industry Certified Professional Qualifications an advantage
- Strong technical understanding of Active Directory, Server Operating Systems, Exchange, Virtualization, SAN Storage, Networking, Firewalls, VPN and SQL
- Linux Experience an advantage
- Experience with products such as Commvault, VEEAM, Rightfax, Symposium Contact Center and Solarwinds an advantage
