The list of classes for the Newtown Charity Dog Show is now available. Dog owners can purchase class entry tickets on the day from the entry tent. All proceeds will go to the Parents Association of Youghalarra National School and Newtown Community Playgroup. More information can be found on their FaceBook page here.
Location: Barry’s Field, Newtown
Date: Monday, May 4th
The show starts at 2pm on the day and the first class will display shortly after this. Fresh water is available for dogs.
Rosettes will be awarded for 1st – 5th place in each class
Show Champion will be selected from classes 1 to 8
Show Runner Up will be selected from classes 1 to 8
Show Classes:
1. Best Large Breed
2. Best Terrier
3. Best Working / Utility Dog
4. Best Small Dog
5. Best Gundog
6. Best Rescue Dog
7. Best Dog
8. Best Bitch
9. Dog with Waggiest Tail
10. Child Best Friend (for owners 10 years and under)
Entry Fees:
€4 per class
€3 for Dog Agility
€10 for 3 classes
