Unemployed Jack Boyle looks to remain that way as he spends his time drinking with his friend Joxer. His long suffering wife Juno, attempts to keep some semblence of family life together in a crumbling tenement flat. But a surprise inheritance suggests a change in fortunes…
Set in Dublin’s working class tenements in the early 1920’s, the play ofers a withering view of wasted lives in a city torn apart by the chaos of the Irish Civil War.
