Having studied for many years with Michael O’Toole at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, John O’Shea went on to complete his studies with a Masters in Guitar Performance at the USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles. At USC, John studied with Scott Tennant, founding member of the Grammy award winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and under the tutelage of Maestro Pepe Romero.
He has also taken lessons with many of the world’s most famous guitarists including David Russell, Paul Galbraith, Oscar Ghiglia and Xuefei Yang.
John will play some Giuliani, Rodrigo and Handel as well as his own arrangements of Irish music.
